What shade of silver for fan
I am going to Powder Coat my fan and shroud silver. What silver ar eyou guys using on them? It looks like a light argent but I can't tell for sure.

I'd use a metallic gray if was doing it again (mine is red). That will look good and shiny but won't show dirt much.

There certainly are a lot of silvers. I would avoid a blueish tint and go for something like the color of Porsche factory painted wheels. Very nice, neutral silver.

I had mine done at Specialized Coatings. They had a special name for this silver but I can't recall it. Suposedly, very popular for Porsche fan parts. Ask for Larry, he'll know.

Go with Hypersilver! My wife is the sales manager for a Wheel Repair/Powder Coating shop and they're doing a ton of it. It's a very popular color for wheels these days... a little more expensive but beautiful!
You can google "hypersilver" and see several examples.

I used "wheel silver" from columbia coatings on my fans. It have a bright color but less than semigloss finish.
