MA Shaw Duck AND A/C
I just got the MA Shaw Duck Tail , and I am looking at the A/C condenser on the original deck lid.
Does anyone have a real cool mounting idea on how to attach the condenser to the duck tail? I am not willing to give up my a/c, but the fiberglas tail has no provisions for the condenser. Ken

Ken, What I have seen done down here in Floriduh, is that most guys will buy some aluminum stripping, about 1/8 inch thick, by about 1 1/4 wide. you can get this stock at Home Depot. You build a light aluminum frame to allow mounting the condensor directly under the duck grill. Works well, and weighs practically nothing. I wish I had pictures, but it really is quite simple to fab up. Doug

I thought to condenser was mounted directly to the hinges? It at least appeared that way on my '84 and someone I know that has an SC with a duck told me that is how it mounted.
