Performance chip?
I am looking for the best performance chip I can buy for a stock 3.6 993, any help would be great.

As I understand it, only the 1995 model can be chipped. After that, they were OBDII, and need to have the DME re-flashed if you want to change the programming. Do you have a 1995?

Thanks for the reply, I have a 92 3.6 engine, I am in the process of doing a 3.2 to a 3.6 conversion.

A 92 engine is a 964, not a 993. They're all OBDI, and can be chipped.
I have a 1993 964 motor, and I run a No Bad Days chip in it, which has the unique characteristic of having two chips worth of data burned onto a single, dual-capacity chip. There's a switch on my DME box that allows me to go with either the stock mapping (safer for the engine, for day-to-day driving) or the more aggressive settings (more power for when I need it) whenever I want. Dyno results here.

Steve Wong makes a chip for the 964 engines (as well as the earlier cars). He's a regular on this board and about the most helpful guy around. Plus top notch products

has anyone ever run a non-bias test covering modified chips?
