Chevy fuchs ?

Does anyone know what the cavalier bolt pattern is, and if it could be adapted to fit a porsche. Id like to try to fit these wheels, they sort of look like an updated fuchs and the price cant be beat.

laugh all you want but i think the're cool.

The ebay add states that the bolt pattern is 5 x 100mm.
Porsche is 5 x 130mm. Probably a lot of work, but they do look cool.

Wow, they really do look like a modern version. I wonder how they'd look on a 911 (hint, hint)

They look a bit like the Opel Omega Fuchs:

They are asking too much.

My friend got some factory wheels for his G35 for 50 each. That's what I'd pay for those things. They look pretty good though. I bet if you painted them with black webs they would look sweet. Someone should photoshop them.

Contact the seller and find out the offset.

I'd bet there's enough room for adapters and still have the fit be similar to a 16x6 fuchs.

So is there any way that these could be mounted on a 911 hub? I guess it would need custom machined adapters right? This was actually my original question, i didnt really ever ask it outright though, oops.

Sure, it can be ordered from the manufactors of wheel adaptors. It would simply look like those bolt on wheel spacers for late model offset, but with dissimilar bolt patterns.

I know H&R makes adapers (25mm) to fit Porsche wheels on 5 lug VWs (5x100)...I don't know if they can be done backwards tho.

I was virtually given a set of BBS three piece wheels in 17"dia
they were 7 1/2 and 8 1/2 ---5 x114.5 [common japanese]
so I stripped one and took the centre to a friend with a CNC
mill. I had ideas of boring the existing holes out at 130mm
center and putting some threaded bushes in for the Porsche.
Didnt work! there isnt enough 'meat' to do it.
I often wondered why some clever person hasnt produced a set of replacement hubs with studs at 5 X 120[GM] would open the options a bit. Those wheels on e-bay will have front wheel drive offset by the looks of it. so there should be plenty of room for spacers/adapters. Only 6"wide rims though.
They do look good.

IMHO wheels with no "dish" look funky on the early 911s. Other than that I have always thought they were pretty cool for an OE wheel.

That's the bolt pattern. The offset is the distance between the wheel mounting face and the centerline of the wheels, something like ET43 should be on the back of the wheel. More modern wheels tend to be much more "sunk in" the wheel wells in comparison to fuchs to accomodate ABS. This makes them ideal to fit spacers and still fit on a 911.

Unfortunately, they look a bit like wheel covers even though they seem to be a modernized Fuchs design.

FWD backsets would leave enough room for adaptors, IMO.

First, they are SIX INCH RIMS. When Chevy starts offering the Cavalier with big-ass rubber on 9, 10 or 11.5 inchers on the rear, and minimum 7" on the front, call me. Otherwise, who cares.

Second, as I am sure these are cast, how much will those puppies weigh? I'll bet those skinny 16's weigh as much or more than Fuchs 9" wheels at only about 20 lbs.

They do look cool and the similarity to the Fuchs design is striking. I think they fit the bill better for those high performance Cavaliers out there.

i agree that they wouldnt be the best performance oriented option, but they will cost way less then most porsche wheels and they still look good IMO. I also really like polished cookie cutters, but thats another story.
