c/ clockwise?

Does the firing order on my distributor cap go counter clockwise?
I have them running clockwise and it runs like crap.
I've rechecked the wires about a dozen times. made sure all the wires click on the plugs ect, ect, ect.

If this is the case, I waisted about two hours last night.......

I thought for sure that my distributor went clockwise when I turned over the motor clockwise.

Ron,

Put it in a forward gear (like 4th or 5th) take off the dist cap, push the car forward a little, and you see which way the rotor turns. You won't have to memorize that it turns clockwise.
