What happened to the Autolifters Company???

This company makes 2 and 4 post lifts (www.autolifters.com). Go figure, I'm finally ready to order a 4 post lift and now it looks like these guys are no longer in business. Anybody hear what happened here? Are they by chance liquidating thier inventory? They make a really nice 4 post lift (kind of like the Backyard Buddy) and at a reasonable price. Anyway, I can't find nothing on the net so hopefully someone else knows what happened. Thanks

Why would you want to buy a complex piece of equipment from a company that's out of business? You won't get any product support, warranty, etc.

I too had been lusting at one for some time and was going to take the plunge this winter. Bummer! Quick Google search shows: http://wichita.bizjournals.com/wichita/stories/2005/05/16/story3.html

I found a company in Franklin Indiana that is now selling 4 post lifts for prices similar to what autolifter used to. I haven't made it over for a look in person yet. They occasionally have them listed on Ebay. They are available for local pickup also though its a longer drive for you than me.

Found this on the web... Could be promising. Don't know cost, but seems to be well built. Lou
