What colour script would you recommend?

I saw a nice early 80s coupe that had a very retro 80s Porsche script on it much like Jack Olsen's. It was beige over brown.

I'm really torn for my car. The colour is dark metallic blue.

I originally thought of black for the script, but that might be too sublte, but white might be too much.

What would you guys suggest. What would be a cool contrasting colour? Dark or light grey maybe?

I'd say a dark to medium gray. Very nice looking car BTW!

If you're going for authenticity, here's something you may want to consider:

Yeah Darryl, I know...if I had my way, I would not have metallic paint...but a re-spray is not in the works.

I like the medium grey suggestion.

Also my car is an 81 and so a script is a bit of a stretch anyways...but who cares...its my car

Ok, I'd recommend one that matches your paint exactly... Less is more.

I like your car the way it is....however, if you are going to do the script, I would go with black to match the fuchs, or the medium gray is a good option.

Thought this might help. I think you could do quite a few colors if you matched your Fuchs to the stripe color.

Definitely gray. Contact MikeZ here on the board. He makes graphics, and can tell you what colors he's got availble.

Black. It will match your Fuchs centers, and all the other black/rubber bits.

Viper green and signal orange were the two colors that came up most often a few years back at the R Gruppe Cambria party when I asked what color I should use on my Iris Blue early car.

What color is that, looks nice !
