Really need 911 maintenance book or Hayne's, coming soon. Anyway can someone please tell me the #'s in the engine 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 standing from back looking into engine deck. I thought starting from left down 1,2,3 then over to the right 4,5,6? Am I right? Thanks

An easy way to remember is the ignition distributor is closest to
the #1 cylinder. There is a decal that goes in the engine compartment. " ![]() (C) Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche A.G. Best, Grady |
