well, I had my 911 for almost 14 years now, it went thru different stages of modifications thru the years, but now it is going thru a complete rebirth
![]() this is the way it looked - ![]() this is the way it looks now - ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Look at the right and left rear tires, on the left - it is 9x17, 255/40/17, on the right, it is 315/40/17 on the 14x17 rim ! ![]() The engine swap starts on the 25th of this month Any thought? Should I stay with yellow or go with orange? ![]() ![]() BTW, I have RUF 17"rims ($2000) and RUF steering wheel ($350) for sale! carreraboy911@roadfly.org

Definately yellow.
I know I'm gonna take some heat for this but... doea anyone else find that square cooler intake/valance on those cars hideous? Porsche has always been able to beautifully walk the, "form follows function" walk, but that's got to be the one exception in my books. Nik

nik,
i'd like to see it as an oval shape, but i think the square shape is already too much of an icon on the rsr..wouldn't you guess? ryan

Yep, it's definately an unmistakable icon.... but so is the Yugo.
"Oh no he di-n't!!" ![]() Actually I don't mind the square shape, I'd just like to see it more "incorporated" into the rest of the valance. Nik

Can't really go wrong but I prefer the yellow. Looks great, btw, but you might want a different seat.

The square front oil cooler always made me think of those little dorm room refrigerators. I don't know why. Not to my taste, but you're right, it's an essential early car visual.
(I had an S bumper widened, instead.)

I love the ORANGE... go orange.
It's going to look great! And with 14" rims you could have gone WIDE.... Do they sell 355 for 17' wheels? Congratulations on a great car/project |

EW this is a 934
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You can see the extra 2 grills for the water to air intercoolers plus the 11' front flares and 14' rear flares bolted to the 930 original ones. |

I am in the middle of my rsr project and am looking for rims sizes and offsets (front and rear). Can you tell me the sizes you are going to run?

Banned but not out, yet..

You have already lived with yellow - try something new and different. After all, a color is not a life long commitment.
