Removing the Factroy Alarm

Anyone ever completely removed this bad johnny? How do you do it without disabling the car?

Well, it's hard. You can remove the beeping thing. It's next to the fuel pump. Porsche obviously made it difficult to get rid of. You can take off the driver's side door panel and there are a pair of wires (white/brown) going to the alarm lock in the door. If you cut the brown wire, you'll disable it BUT, everytime that brown wire gets grounded, it will make that obnoxious beep, which is why you have to remove the sound making device which is beneath the cover protecting the fuel pump. Pretty easy to remove itself. It's just the bottom cover that's kind of a pain...(but doesn't take long).

What about ripping out all the other wires and the not activating the ignition kill functions?

Well, mine didn't have an ignition kill, but maybe it had already been disconnected. all I know is that, whenever the brown wire grounded, the thing made a sudden goose honk that drove me nuts, thus I had to disconnect that device.
