Block off question
I will be bringing my car home and I installed headers before I sent it to the mechanic. I have not driven it with the headers on yet, and I wanted to know what should be blocked off in order to keep the engine cooling properly.
Thanks

John,
When standing behind your car, looking at the engine, you'll see two tubes running from either side of the fan, through the engine sheetmetal, to where th eold heat-echangers used to be. You need to remove these tubes, and blank off the holes left in the plates on the engine. I have templates available to make blankoffs from, if you need, you can mail me at wfick@firstrandbank.co.za, and I'll send you a copy.

if it's a stock 65-73 tineware then a pair of paintcan tops works perfectly with hoseclamps. Not pretty but it works
