2.4 motor out of 2.0 core?
I've got a stock 69T motor that I was thinking of selling with my 72T rusto-project. Is it possible to rebuild the 2.0 motor to 2.4 specs so someone would have the most "OEM" like motor in the 72? Aside from that, the 72 is stock.
Thanks, mto

MTO,
Sure, it's possible. You would need 70.4mm crank from 2.4 or 2.7 motor 84mm cylinders from 2.0 or 2.4 motor 2.4 pistons from 2.4 motor or JE Case squirters and other modifications to '69 mag case to bring it up to '74 specs . . . in short, you'd end up buying all the parts to a 2.4 to modify the '69T, which numbers would only match YOUR car. . . why not put the engine aside for a rainy day?

Well...that's the question. I'm trying to sell the engine WITH the car, and for someone who wanted an OEM 2.4 motor in the 72, I wanted to make sure it was possible. So...I have a 72T shell, and a 69 2.0 Motor. Just wanted to make sure it was possible....
