broken stud and broken ego

In my haste to remove eng and tranny, broke off bolt that holds clutch z arm off of tranny case and then bent engine to trans stud.Where can I find this hardware and will I ever feel the same towards myself again?

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Likely the host has some or all of the parts. May I suggest you provide more details and maybe a picture? Hard to tell you what parts, when you don't know year, at the very least.

You can probably straighten the engine to Tranny one pretty easily...

check out a parts book, etc or find a part number and plug it into the pelican parts number box at the top of the BBS main pages or if all else fails call pelican parts and explain what you need. They can get every part to your car.

I agree. I had one bent. Took the stud off, hammered it out straight, worked fine.

I 3rd the straighten-the-engine-to-trans-stud suggestion Three of the engine to trans studs are ~$5 each but the longer one that goes through the trans is (are you sitting down?) - $53.52! (At least for 1981 911 SC.)
