91 964 C4 A/C switch help

The darned push-button has come out of its housing and will not stay in the "on" position...what's involved in a repair? Thanks you!

I have no clue. I just know doing anything on my 964 totally blows chunks.
In the other years, you can just reach behind there...I do knowi ts likely simply popped in from behind w/ some kind of plastic snaps. That's generally how they secure those dash items.
you'll have to reach back there and see if you can get it at it...if not, then you may be able to remove the temp control front and get in from there. That's definitely snapped in there.

You need to buy a new switch, and then remove the CCU, disassemble the face plate, and swap the switch. Take a look at the following for hints on disassembly.
