B&B Headers and Dynomax muffler on 3.6 datapoint

I just thought I'd document the fact that I am VERY happy with the results of switching from a fabspeed (flowmaster) to a dynomax (similar to Moses' setup but without the cats) in my 3.6 conversion.

I found the resonance in the fabspeed dual in/out to be absolutley unbearable in 'normal driving' rpms and would have been pretty unhappy driving the car in traffic with that setup. Even with one outlet capped, the resonance was lousy. I then tried some 'car chemistry' 2 1/2" 3 disk inserts in the outlets. They knocked down the resonance, but still way loud. Just not subtle enough for my taste. If someone wants them, i'll sell them for 1/2 of what i paid.

After pm'ing with moses... I bit the bullet and picked up a dynomax 'super turbo' 17725 dual in/out and had it fabed up to the headers. With both outlets open, I found it to be plenty agressive, but not overbearing. With one outlet capped, its still got some grunt to it, but is (in my opinion) quite acceptable for around town driving. I did throw some steel wool in the capped side (a la mr olsen and his soup can solution) he had mentioned trying to prevent 'hammering' I don't know if it does anything, but i guess it cant hurt. With only one bolt to loosen, switching out for the dual out tip is pretty easy.
