tech questions about 3.2 into my 75 Carrera

I need a little reassurance advise, please,

1. The 14 pin connector will need some rearranging. We've been told the colors follow suit and will only require one relocation. Does anyone have a diagram for this conversion.

2. Can we use the existing fuel lines (pulling new ones through the tunnel looks difficult) We can move the fuel pump to the front easily enough and graft in the lines if there is no other reason not to.

Donny,

Alot of people here have "BTDT". The 14-pin connector effort is pretty simple (I think I actually moved two wires). I have my info at home if no one else chimes in. What you need is a table of the pin designations for you '75 and for the 3.2 and essentially match them up while pulling out the one for the WUR, etc. It's really pretty straightforward once you get into it.

As for the fuel lines, you can use the existing ones assuming they are in good shape. I simply installed a Motronic fuel pump at the same location as my old CIS pump (in the rear). That has worked like a charm for over two years now.

You guys should thank Marc Astore, he put together a great page. He used to post here regularly but seems to have become less active lately, perhaps moved on to bigger and better things

Bill,

I did a search for Marc but no results showed up at all. He's either gone now or I don't know how to conduct a member search. Too bad, the page is outstanding. It was a realy nice helper for my engine upgrade project.

I typed in his Pelican handle and found many posts using that rather than his real name... (duh).

Bill,
I finally made contact with Bernie. He was gad to have been of help. I let him know who showed me the site and how much help it was.

How do I get hooked up for some of the PELICAN get togethers I keep reading about? I'm in Northern AZ.
