Help: Got a Blaupunk Moneterey SQR-23 in your attic?

Hi everyone,
A buddy of mine is in a fix. He's desperate to find a good working Blaupunk Monterey radio/cassette unit as used in 80's Porsches. The ones he's received from junkyards have all been bad and getting them repaired has proven unsuccessful as well.

If you have one of these that doesn't make static noise when you turn the volume knob, please contact me.

I posted a WTB a while back in the classifieds without success. I'm hoping someone will dig there old one out of the basement if I beg on the regular list.
-Chris

Chris, I might have mine, but I'm out of town until the end of the week. I'll check as soon as I get home.

The model you show in the pic doesn't ring a bell from what I recall of mine, but I'm sure it's a Blau, and it's a cassette deck.

It has to be a Monterey. I copied the picture from an Ebay ad so I'm not sure it is accurate.

Looks just like my Blau New York SQR05. I also need to repair or replace it. It works fine except the 3 buttons that switch between AM/FM/SW no longer work. Currently it's stuck on SW

If any one can repair, supply a replacement or point me to a repair shop I would appreciate it.
