New Paint and New Bumpers....WOW

Greetings,

Well the car is allmost done as far as the body goes. Its been reprayed and new bumpers have been installed. The rims still need to redone and the window frams still need to be spryed (the bodyshope never sprayed them). Over the winter i'm going to refresh the motor and possibly convert it to EFI among other things. Anywho I have attached some pics....enjoy.

Daniel

Kroggers,

Both front and rear bumpers are from GT Racing. The front is called Turbo/RSR bumper w/o the lip. The rear bumper is called RSR.

Goat ,

The Bumpers are from GT Racing.

SandyI,

The bumpers did not fit at all. The body shop could not or did not want to waste their time on trying to fit them......they were recommended by the club but I would have rather of gone somewhere else if I knew that they were going to rush it out of the shop. I took it upon myself to finish with the assembly. The front bumper I had to put on a C2 Turbo rubber smile to fill in the gap on the front bumper, plus it gives it character. The rear bumper I had to fit C2 Turbo black rubber seals on the sides to give it that clean almost factory look, plus they filled in the gaps. So no they did not fit right straight out of the box.

mmastro,

The color is Gaurds Red......its the picture quailty that makes it seems that way.

Once again thanks everyone for your kind words.

Daniel

Daniel

beautiful looking car. I love the fact that it is a little different.
May I ask you what seal you used for the body to bumper gap?
It looks great and less clumsy than the factory "smile".

I have a similar front bumper but I am searching for a better solution than the smile.... see>>>

Also did it start like a normal 930? What are your plans for the motor this winter?

Again beautiful car!

911Teo,

"May I ask you what seal you used for the body to bumper gap?"

To fill in the gap in the front bumper, I used a C2 Turbo rubber smile.

"Also did it start like a normal 930?"

I bought the car over a year ago from a fellow pelican. The car started out as a 84 930 in need of a restore.

"What are your plans for the motor this winter?"

Over the winter I will redo the interior. I have not figured out what I will do with the motor yet. Once again thank you for the kind words.
