1980 SC 164K miles w/2K on a new rebuild - 11 MPG in town Am I the only one getting this low milage? I'm in Los Angeles, and 'in town' usually means a lot of stop-go-and-idle, but I'm starting to wonder based on what others here are reporting that I may have a hole in my fuel tank!

Wait. You track the gas mileage? That's like the only thing I rarely watch!

'84 3.2 with Steve Wong chip, otherwise stock. About 18 in town, mid-20's on the highway at quasi-legal speeds (i.e. keeping up with the rest of the traffic). You bet I do. Noticing a change in mileage is a good way to catch some types of problems. Quote:

1981 SC, 150k, Chevron regular - 20-22 mpg in mixed driving. Throw an autocross into the mix and it usually drops to around 18 mpg.
