RSR style roll bar fit...is it to far forward?

Just installed an RSR-like bar. Is it to close to the seat? Is this goofy?! I Know that a DAS, Safety Systems etc. , would have a much better fit I guess I like the old style....sort of a back date for my 84.

It does lean a littleforward, I was told that was for "deflection", does that make any sense?

Seems to me that yours may be a Cab roll bar and not one for a coupe. I have a DAS bar and it follows the pillars very closely.

I know that DAS is a super fit. But will this work? This is a weekender car....a pretend race car, or occasional track car. Will it work?
