Question. I'm about to change out my old thrashed wooden floorboard for a new Rennline aluminum version. The old board is just laying in there and is not secured by the nut that attaches to the little bolt that comes out of the floorpan. The nut is long gone. A PO lost it obviously.
I need to replace the nut but have absolutely no clue as to its size? I suppose I could use the shotgun method and buy a whole range of nuts and just try them all out until I find the right one but that seems wasteful of time and money. Does anyone know the size nut that I need to buy? Anyone? I know that a lot of you guys have changed out the floorboard. Any help would be appreciated. |

That M6 threaded stud uses a 10mm hex nut.

Would you post a pic of the floorboard after you install it?
This is just an excuse to ask for another pic of your car, which looks so sweet - some other pics (posted when you were doing the suspension refresh) changed my mind about cabs.
