Looking for bolt on flares to add to my 78 SC this winter, can't seem to find a goud source.

Any guidance would be appreciated!

No personal experience with either company, but I found both sites thru links posted in the forums.

AFAIK, nobody makes flares designed to look "bolted on" like Nissan trucks, for instance, but you can take standard 'glass flares and use rivets to attach them like the P.O. did on my track car...

It's kind of a 'rough and ready' look. I'm planning to clean it up with fender beading and standard silver hex-head screws, if I keep and paint the car instead of selling it.

when sites say 9" flares does that mean total overall increase in width or is that 9" per side....confused....i'm in the same boat where i'd like some bolt on or rivet on flares on the ol' lil T

9" flares usually means they allow 9" wheels to be mounted. But people sometimes can get 10" wheels under 9" flares. To further complicate things, there's some lattitude when flares (especially rears) are mounted that can make up to 1/2" difference in capacity.

It could definitely be less confusing.
