964 decklid install-pre89 carrera questions
I am going to install the 964 decklid on an 86 carrera. I have done extensive searches so I think I am prepared.
I know about the autoloc and window switch. My main question is this. I have a rear wiper that I removed from my old decklid. The wiring is still there. My thought is to remove the existing switch for the wiper and install the window switch in its place using the existing wiring. It should carry plenty of power with that circuit. Anyone out there see a problem with this?

As long as you don't mind your spoiler raising and lowering continuously, shouldn't be a problem.
![]() I clearly have nothing useful to offer you. That was as close as I could come to a windshield wiper smiley.
