What is with the horrible front splitter extensions
everyone seems to do them on the RSR and IMHO i think it spoils them |

Here is my 3.2 Im working on.
The obvious bits sills and b posts are rotten. when i stripped the front wings though they were solid which is not bad for a 1984 UK car. 964 engine in it now. Id go for the RSR route but couldnt get the car down the driveway. youve probably all seen these by now Check my running Project: AND POST YOUR OWN if you want ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hey Guys!
I really need you guys input or opinion on the wheels for the C4RSR project! The Mike Lindsey has the wheels done and I have a dilemma. ![]() ![]() The paddles are polished and now, I not sure about the polished look. I think, I like them painted solid. Like Mike did on the white/red RSR we did last year. So the question is leave polished. Or paint solid. The chassis is going into the paint shop next week. So soon it will be all white! ![]() Thanks Guys! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I like the unpainted spokes. I prefer a matte finish.

I vote for painted over polished. Appears more period correct, even for a back date!

I vote for polished as they are. Those wheels look incredible with the blue background over polished paddles.

I do like the polish too, should have specified that. Just prefer (slightly) matte. You chose well!
Let's see them on the car. Doug

Hey Doug,
I can't but them on the car. There still at Lindsey Racing. I think on certain cars or colored cars they look the best with them polished or matte finish. Like Sliver! ![]() I think on this white/blue car they just look to bling bling. IMO

I would say leave them polished, they can get matted later if you get tired of the shine.

Try a little bit of everything.
1. Polished lip 2. Matte Paddles 3. Painted background ![]() Just kidding, I would say if it was an exact replica of an RSR then definately Matte finish, but it is not. So, go with either polished paddels or blue, they both will look good, and everyone on this board that doubts it will still look at the wheels when they are on the car and say "Holy Crap, that RSR Kicks A$$". So, long story short you can't go wrong.
