is there a better defrost?
Has anyone replaced or modified the defroster fan in an older 911 so that it actually kicked out real air? Maybe some sort of an inline fan (perhaps a great use for the e-turbo?). Living in Seattle it would really be handy to be able to actually see through the windshield when it's wet out.
Thanks

Try opening the fresh air inlet a bit mixing it with the warm air and slide the lever over to direct it at the windshield.

drop the right window 1/2 way until the heater starts to kick out some heat.

I use RainX defogger on the inside of my windshield. Works well up here in Vancouver.

maybe it is picking up moisture under the car? my '75 used to do that. inspect & check operation of the dump valves while under there.
the whole system is really designed to blow an oily mist on the windscreen anyway.... how clean does everything look under there? is there gunk?

funny, i was going to post this very topic today. i'm not one to avoid rain, but if i don't figure out why only the passenger side of the windshield is defogging, leaving my view fogged i might be storing her sooner than i want to...
not meant to hijack, but has anyone experienced my problem

a bog standard scuba diving snorkel works just fine, simply attach the end of it on the headrest , so it points backwards.... works like a charm !!
