				Ruf look with Stripes???

I am thinking outside the box here. I am trying to see what my car might look like with stripes front to rear. Maybe the herbie look, or 60's Camaro style. I am not sure. Has anyone seen a red car with a cool stripes? Porsche or non-porsche... I've been looking all over and can't come up with any great ideas.

http://www.azautographics.com/stripes.htm Maybe something similar as on the link, with a Black and grey combo. And a PORSCHE in grey with a black stripe on the sides.....the Jack Olsen looking graphic style.

IMO red cars don't lend themselves readily to stripes.....

Maybe I am just looking to add a little black somehow to have the black targa bar and rubber rocker trim flow with all the solid red fiberglass on the nose and rear. I wish I could photochop the look, and see if it looks overdone.

I personally don't think the hood-to-decklid stripes are right for a Targa. But you could put something on the sides, and it might look cool. Then again, as others have pointed out: the car looks pretty great already.

Thank you for the input. The more I look at the reds with stripes, I like it as is. I am thinking I will leave it. I don't want a ricer look, thats for sure. I was thinking along the lines of a race car look, but I will leave well enough alone.

I would leave it as it is also. DP stripes are another choice if you really want some stripes and another choice is Porsche made a stripe for the 930's around 1979. Will look for pictures if interested.
