Sorry, Porscheguy79, it just amazes me the trinkets and doilies and trollops and whatever that Porsche fanatics will adorn their car with in the unending quest for their unicorn. To me the 911 is simply the most understated perfection sans adornment. Isn't that why we're all here? I mean, would you put a ripe strawberry on a filet mignon? A tattoo on the Mona Lisa? Some things are better left alone. Simple can be so much more sophisticated. No hard feelings; I'm sure your car will be kick-ass no matter what you do to it.

Defcon, No hard feelings, I completely understand your position. I had a long day today, took your comment the wrong way and overreacted. I have always thought of my car to be predominantly a track car and always loved the vintage track dedicated road cars like the RS and RSR so the graphics are my way of emulating that which I like. I have to remember that just because someone doesn't see eye to eye with you doesn't make either opinion wrong, sometimes in the heat of the momment I miss the details.

Porscheguy79, I love those Martini RSR racecars, too - but I wouldn't get behind the wheel of one for anything. My bone-stock 85 Carrera is a comfortable pleasure to drive around town and will still catch me with those, "Whoa, I didn't know that was down in there" moments when I open it up on the highway. Everybody seems to be looking for inches to pinch in the quest for more power, but heck, this car has power to spare and then some. If I do anything at all to it besides typical maintenance, I'll probably put in a Wong chip to smooth out the idle. So far my favorite thing about owning a Porsche is the way complete strangers feel compelled to take the time and roll down their window or walk over to the gas pump and remark "that is a really beautiful car." I even had a grandmotherly type approach me with the compliment "I've never seen anything like it." After chatting with me about what it actually was, she told me her father used to own a Cord, but she thought my car "is prettier than that." Now that has got to rate pretty high on the flattery index, indeed!

Matt, Not sure I would go with the CS - a bit too bold. Probably just the regular Carrera script in red. Mine is obviously not a Club Sport (don´t even have a rear wing). I am very fond of the classic color combo though with red on white car. I could probably be persuaded to go with red rims too.

Thanks Matt, looks great! Well, maybe except for the red mirrors.. Would that be an SC ? Judging from the protruding front dim lights.

Funny you should say that because I saw the fogs too and thought it was an SC.

Do you know the provenance of that car, Matt ? Looks like they also smacked on a duck tail. There is also something about the head lights. They look very CS, although I don´t think they differed from the stock Carrera.

It really does look the business, doesn´t it !! I think I need a duck tail too. Wonder if its possible painting my Fuchs red. Not a typical DIY job I guess. I think I got half a bucket left from last years fence painting..

Love the white SC with the duck. No sunroof aswell. Looks to have a stripped interior too. 3.6? That would be the icing on the cake.

I dont actually, I cant remember even where I downloaded that from. But I can say that I dont think thats a CS because they were never delievered with foglights, it was one of the things the factory deleted. I think its just an SC with some kit on it.

I pulled the tirgger, I will post the car on the street once the brakes are done being gone over. I will see how much I like em, I figure if I dont I can just pull em off after the season is over. That said, they have grown on me quite a bit, and the car is just sitting in the garage!
