Question help with a "Platinum" color name and code?

I am buildong a Corvette based mid engined super car and that color is what I had in mind.

If it is a Porsche color I will probably be able to find it.

thanks

I had a color on my 1986 US turbo and it was called White Gold.. it was more of a Champgne color but people have refered to it as platinum..though it more of a gold tinge to it than silver..might be it

Perhaps you could find the color you are looking for at:
http://www.paintscratch.com/

You can select Year-Make-Model for most any year of Porsche (or other makes); the result will be a list of the paint names, codes and a color sample.

No affiliation; just happened on the site last week while searching for touch-up paint that was no longer available from the dealer.

BTW - I noticed a listing for Platinum for 1982, code L655.
