Swaybar Drop Link Question?

1976 911 with the ball and socket type mount on the trailing arm, Can the ball part on the arm be removed and replaced with the bolt on type? If so, how do they come out?

Thanks

My '76 Targa stock bars have been replaced with Kokeln bars (bolt-on drop link). The stock drop link pops out of the ball (with varying degrees of difficulty). The stub and ball is not used when the new bar and drop link is installed. Hope this helps.

No, the stub/ball/banana are all one piece. The stub and ball just hang in the breeze now.

I don't get it how are the new swaybar mounted if the old mount in the banana arm is not used?

My Kokoln drop link is bolted to a hole in the spring plate. Other end is, of course, bolted to the sway bar arm.
