What is up with Stoddard's Web Site

Don't mean to bring attention to a pseudo-competitors web site, but has anybody been out to the Stoddard Porsche web site lately - specifically the spare parts page?? I line in NE Ohio and visit the site occasionally looking for parts I need today or stuff that is not available elsewhere. You used to be able to at least use their catalog and look up availability and price of a part. Whatever they have done you can no longer see any of their prices? I know they recently changed hands - Porsche sold out to a local guy and they have really gone backwards. They used to be good, now they remind me of all the other incompetent dealers parts departments - too bad, especially for us Porsche nuts in NE Ohio, but good for you Wayne!

Are they still stocking early parts? (I don't have a catalog).

I just checked, their p/n search is up and running just fine. The only catch to it, is it chokes if you feed it a p/n that has been superceded. You can use, uh, other databases to get the supercede p/n and then dump it into their search.

Yes, "HGP", they supply early parts to the extent they are available and are better than anyone else I know of at hunting stuff down that's out there but not easily obtainable.

Not sure what you mean by incompetent Vance...they've spent hours helping me out on the phone/fax/email this year and as recently as last month, hunting down parts. They've made complex and large orders very easy to deal with. I can't say that about the competition.

Stoddards was one of the first ( only?) non-franchise....Porsche-limked facilities since day one...

Sorry it ( also ) is going the way of Walmart....
