Who makes the best headers W/ Ht exchangers

I am looking for the best high quality header/heat exchanger for my 73 RS Motor. Are SSI the best? or are there other choices?

Hi jwerion,

There are several choices for both headers and heat exchangers. Dansk and B&B come to mind for heat exchangers. A friend of mine is running “non SSI” heat exchangers on his car, and I bought Bursch headers for my 79SC.

But SSI has the reputation for the highest quality. Other choices are usually made as a lower cost option.

Whatever you choose, let me know if you need help with your install. I'm just off of Harmony Rd.

Regards,
Martin

SSI

Dansk and B&B are not in the same league for quality of fabrication.

I guess I will buy some SSI's
ColoradoPorsche thanks for the offer I may take you up on it. I am in the process of remodeling/building a new Office/shop/guys hang out in downtown Loveland. I plan on having an open house when it is finished and inviting the Colorado pelicans.

Sweet. I don't know if you want to invite riffraff from Denver, but if so I can think of a few shady characters that might be up for it

also John Daniels was first - the others are merely copying his SSI creation -- 'course he copied P AG...
