Remember when movie houses were busted for inserting very short suggestions such as, "Thirsty? Buy Coke!" "Your hungry - Buy a delicious Weiner" in the films being played. Sales at the snack bar increased dramatically.
I being completely blind until tonight never noticed the following insert in the threads: "The new Pelican is coming... 2006!" (As luck will have it, I just intended to actually be on the board in 2006. A coincidence?) "Has anyone seen my mouse?" (I was just marveling today how nice it is to have a touchpad and to ditch the mouse. A coincidence?) "Wayne was here..." (How did he find this board? A coincidence?) "Buy Wayne's book!" (Looking over at my P-car book collection, there sits 101 Projects. A coincidence?) Fuchs are awesome! (The P-car I have actually came with those very kind of wheels. A coincidence? I also bought a set of Fuchs rally wheels for my Audi. Play Twilight Zone music.) Porsches are great! (This one totally escapes me on this BB... but am working on breaking the code) What's next? Porsche smells coming from the PC when you surf? "Honey, I can tell you have been on Pelican again... You smell like, exhaust, burnt brakes, and oil."
