Out with the old, in with the new.
This is my idea of bringing in the New Year with a bang. or at least a small garage fire.

You have inspired me to take a new years' eve drive in my 82 this afternoon, however, my engine does not look near as good as yours does. Would be great if we could see your car sometime this summer on Chuckanut or ???.

Just went up Chuckanut today, on our way to Bellingham, but unfortunately not in the 911. It used to be my favorite sportscar road, and it's still pretty good, but it can get crowded now. Should have my new engine installed and fired up by next weekend, but I am doing all the bushings, upgrading to later Carrera sways yadda, yadda. I'm going into withdrawels now. looking forward to some spirited runs.

Thanks Zeke,
Fan, Surround and all tin done in gloss black powder coating, valve covers, cam covers and carb filter tin in black satin/ crinkle powder coating with the logo and ribs on the valve covers sanded to bare metal. Shroud is rattle canned in grey. (I have a buddy who has a buddy who powder coats all this stuff for me as a freebie.)I'm liking the way it turned out. We'll see if it cooks as good as it looks. If it doesn't i'll polish it up some more and make a coffee table out of it. Al
