On my 78 911SC there is a fuel line which starts right outside the "tunnel" for the shift rod and runs up along the left side of engine compartment, then goes directly to the engine via a 3 part tee(see photos attached) this line was all crusty and brittle so I cut it anyways. Now I need the part number for this line. I am installing all new hoses before I put the engine back in the car and need to order this line. I cannot find it listed on the web site in Fuel parts. Thanks

One alternative is to disconnect the hose (you will have to do it anyway) and bring all of the parts to a hydraulic shop. Have them use your ends and swedge on new rubber. The cost will be a fraction of Por$che and you will have it done in about 20 minutes.

That is what I was thinking but since I have a grocery list ready to order here, I figured I get it with the rest of the parts.

This looks like a simple straight hose w/ a female at one end & a male at the other. What length do you need? I make a "fuel hose fix" for the 944s that replaces the $300 hose that goes to the fuel rail inlet. I am just starting to make a replacement for the $500 fuel supply hose for the 84-89 911C 3.2 that goes under the intake. I can duplicate or repair or custom make most Porsche hose assemblies, including the big oil hoses. Any questions you can email me at len@autosportengineering.com I would be happy to help. Len

I just did an engine drop and had to cut this same freaking hose!!!
I'm having a hard time removing the fittings.... can I just splice them together? Alex

If the hose is on the low pressure return side you can splice it together without worry. If it is a hose on the high pressure supply side, you cannot use clamps safely. It must be crimped. If the hose is under high (3 bars typical) pressure, and it has a straight fittting at one end, give me the overall dimensions & I can make up a new hose. The small 16mm fuel fittings are between $8 and $12 ea, and the hose is about $20 per meter for the plain rubber and a bit more for the braided Stainless (metric, not AN) hose. If it has angled fittings on each end, I must send the loose hose & fittings to you for fitment and marking of the orientation of the angled fittings. You must send them back to me for crimping. Same procedure for the big 30mm oil hose assemblies. I hope this helps. Len
