I'm addicted!

I late to the party but I just spent the last two hours reading this saga.

I need a fix..... when can we expect an update?

Great to see a true 911 pcar nut full fill his dreams.

HA! I'm so busted.

My goal for completion is early to mid-April. That way I'll have time to shake it down before the trip North.

Sorry guys... we have spent some time sourcing the 930 trailing arms and brakes.
Everything is here now.
Also Keith and Aaron have been working on a solution to retain off the shelves rotors with te centerlock hubs... and it looks like they have it...
So there is no turning back now.... 917 15" replica wheels for the street and Kodiak 18" for the track.

So little progress has been made on the car itself even if Keith finished Friday to move the trailing arm pick up points...
From now on it will go much quicker... right Keith?

Here are the pics

Good move on the 930 arms. I know it is a lot of work, but when you increase the track back there and put on sticky tires, you can break the std arms with a car of even moderate weight. Looking great!

Because I have 2 little girls that are dying to ride on Papi's blue Porsche.

I wanted to retain the 2 back seats... This is still gonna be daily driver (I have plans to replace the 993 with something a little silly).

Silly is an American car, a street legal race car... originally built to beat Ferrari at their own game...
In its 2002 reincarnation it became the pace car for an entire company...
It hit the market in 2005. 4,000 were produced of which only 500 exported. 0-60 in 3.3s, 550 hp yada yada....
We are moving back to England this Summer.... It would be nice to bring back a piece of America with us (together with the 2 little American girls)....

So the 911 will be done before you leave?

A Ford GT isn't silly ... it's a GREAT car to drive and an instant collector's item.

I'm "Blue" with envy

I have to say that I have committed the sin (at least in my heart) of envy the more I see of this project! When this is done, lust is my next transgression..... and it won't be in my heart either.

Bless me Father, for I have sinned......

The car needs to be finished and bought over to England - great car project and to think we might see it over here.

Keep up the great work and story.
