New Software

Looks pretty good in my opinion. Of course, I'm used to vBulletin from messing with it elsewhere.

Colors could use some attention. I think we should just make a list of "we want this to change" for Wayne.

First off, the posting box: where you type should be white and not gray!

I think we could also stand to lost the vB code section in the post page.

Also, email notification is on by default when you post - that's gotta go! I don't want an email every time someone responds to my post.

Other than that - so far so good! First post!

Wow! This is pretty cool stuff. But I have some other nitpicks! Can I rant on about some other things?

Okay, the email notification thing has to go. Whenever I post, I'm going to have to uncheck that box. That's tiresome.

The bar where it says post new topic and reply to topic needs to be white, not that greenish color. The buttons look out of place.

On the forum table of contents, we really don't need a full column devoted to the last poster - who cares? One solution I've seen is to take that information and make it part of the bubble text that pops up whenever you hover over a topic name. I'd like to lose that column, anyway.

Other than that - this seems faster that the UBB was! Very nice. Good Job, Wayne!

AWESOME NEW FEATURE: Look under the forum title, and see who else is browsing topics alongside you!

You can turn off email notification in your Control Panel...

The buttons are copied in from the old version - perhaps I'll just make some new ones...

I agree with you about the last poster thing, I reduced the font size, and made it much smaller...

The control panel has the default time as GMT...which is about 5 hours ahead of my current time, 8 ahead of yours.

Pretty traumatic, there

Went into withdrawal without the board, and forgot that I had taped the Porsche biography.

Nice new software, though!

I wasn't dissatisfied with the previous software, but after browsing this for just a few minutes - this looks like a big improvement. Unfortunately, it will only increase my addiction level!
