Any Oklahoma City Pelicans?

A friend of mine not on Pelican is looking at a car around Oklahoma City. Do you have a recommended shop you trust to do a long distance PPI?

Any guidance is much appreciated.

I'm in Tulsa and the dealer here is Jackie Cooper who is also in OKC. They have a pretty good reputation but I don't know about older cars. I purchased an '87 Cab from the Tulsa Porsche Store and they made good on some repairs WELL beyond their 30 day warranty period. I think there's a Pelican named Grady who's in Guthrie which is pretty close. I'm not familiar with any independents in the area. Maybe check with the OKC (Warbonnet?) chapter of PCA...they have a VERY strong tech committee.

Thanks for the guidance. I checked again and the city is actually a suburb called Lawton (3rd largest city in OK, I am told). A quick mapquest shows that it is far from Guthrie, about 115 miles. So I am thinking I will try the PCA. Any idea on how to contact the the committee? If it helps, I am a Golden Gate PCA member

Lawton is nowhere near Oklahoma City. Actually, Lawton is closer to Wichita Falls, Texas. If you want to try the PCA, go to www.pca.org and look up the web site for the Warbonnet region.
