Weber carb question

I have a set of 40IDTPI3C1 carbs from a 914-6 I am putting on my 6 with a 2.7 engine. The engine has 2.7 euro p/c's, the 35mm port S heads, and Solex cams installed. Stock heat exchangers with a sport muffler.
I plan on jetting the carbs as a base line per Bruce Anderson's book using F3 emulsion tubes, 135 mains, 145 air corrections, 34mm venturis. I have 45 idle jets, but think maybe 60's would be better? Also looking for a good place to purchase all the jetting. The car is in Ohio, so altitude is not an issue.
BTW, anyone hazard a guess on which plugs to run?
Thanks!
Bill

I've dealt with Pierce Manifolds for Weber parts, lots of tuning info as well.

Bill,

You can also contact any PMO dealer for Weber parts as most of them keep such things around.

F3 emulsion tubes are NLA so you may need to use something else. Idle jet size depends on venturi size so one would need to know that before making a recommendation. The 914/6 ones are too small for any 2.7.

I'd use either NGK BP6ES or Bosch W6DC's for street use. One step colder for track days.

I'll be using 34mm venturi's for the 2.7.
Thanks for the info! Just finishing up the engine now, won't be too long, I hope!

I recently had my 2.7 rebuilt with RS P/Cs and S cams at Supertec. After dialing it in on a dyno (running premium gas with 10% ethanol), we ended up with 34mm venturis, 155 main jets, 70 idle jets, f26 emulsion tubes, 180 air correction, 150 idle bleed. Running an Electromotive ignition if that makes any difference.

Good luck on your setup.
