Never heard of those guys. Check out WEVO, they make a similar item.

He's a famous "I'll screw my Mom for buck" seller from way back.....runaway.....

He occasionally has some VERY good stuff but his prices are beyond belief.

He's always at Dunkel's and the Ventura Auto Fest.....a bunch of us got together one meet, drank beer and heckled him......we've also done other stuff....get Ingo drunk and he'll tell ya...

The Wevo internal gateshift makes much more sense, IMO.

As far as I understand, that is the design that WEVO threw away. You can check out my shifter in Pelican's catalog or go with the WEVO (I prefer the RennShift, of course ). Go with the WEVO internal gate-shift if you want true gating, as you don't have the relative motion of the body vs. trans with the internal design.

That shifter design just does not make sense as a performance improvement, especially for the money. FWIW, F-cars and Lambos that have gated shift levers are not highly praised for it, the only praise I have heard is that they are carrying on tradition by using it.

I've played around with some shifters. I have sort of a collection: Factory short shift, Weltmeister SS and some Seine components. I don't see anything wrong in principle with that design but that is a ridiculous amount of money! (This from a guy who said he would buy a $145 gas pedal )

If all you need is some gates, check out Seine Systems available from Pelican. For 15% of that shifter, you can have all the positive "gate" action you need.

Now, the WEVO is super as I see it, but it's in its own classification. I don't know if it even uses any of the stock parts (not many if it does). All that eBay gizmo seems to do is add something to the top of a regular 915 shifter. Hell, I think someone has just a Ferrari type gate-plate that will bolt on the top for that purpose. And not for some 1100 freakin' bones!
