CHT Sensor Help
I just got my new cht sensor for my 89 911. I ordered part number 930-606-915-00 and got a two wire cylinder head temp sensor no problems there I though. Came to fit it and it wont screw in it seems bigger than my old sensor. The new sensor didnt have a porsche part number on it, it just had a bosch number 0280130070 can any one confirm what this sensor is from? The bung on the wire of the sensor has a 964 part number, was the 964 sensor different?
Thanks Steve |

Steve,
Cannot help you a whole lot but do remember that when I had a 3.2 in my car I did change the CHT sensor. The old one was 13mm on the outside and the new one was either 12 or 14, forget which. The threads were the same that screwed into the head. Joe

Has anyone got an old one of these laying around the garage that they could measure the diameter of the threaded portion for me so i can tell of the threads are bigger, I think I threw my old one out.
