DFU Mounting Brackets - Progress~!!

Thought to share some progress on brackets I had made to mount Electromotive DFU's.

Of course these would also mount anything else in this location.

These are made of 1/8" thick 5052 aluminum. Note the front curved shape that matches the cross beam. I'll be mounting thru the cross beam with four 1/4" socket head cap screws with lock nuts in back. After drilling the mounting holes through it's off to the powder coater and then final mounting. Fits absolutely perfectly.

Nice job...
Is that bracket going to get in the way of anything hanging on the engine?

No interference with any engine components is expected. From what I've been able to research the cross beam is where DFU's are usually mounted - and some kind of plate or bracket or something is necessary.

What I tried to do with these brackets is produce something very functional and maybe even elegant - I hadn't been able to find any offered as 'ready to buy and mount' anywhere...

Looks good, will you be able to reach the dip switches / controls ok back there? I had mounted mine on my 930 to the wall itself, mid way up.
