DFU Mounting Brackets - Progress~!!
Thought to share some progress on brackets I had made to mount Electromotive DFU's.
Of course these would also mount anything else in this location. These are made of 1/8" thick 5052 aluminum. Note the front curved shape that matches the cross beam. I'll be mounting thru the cross beam with four 1/4" socket head cap screws with lock nuts in back. After drilling the mounting holes through it's off to the powder coater and then final mounting. Fits absolutely perfectly.    [IMG]

No interference with any engine components is expected. From what I've been able to research the cross beam is where DFU's are usually mounted - and some kind of plate or bracket or something is necessary.
What I tried to do with these brackets is produce something very functional and maybe even elegant - I hadn't been able to find any offered as 'ready to buy and mount' anywhere...

Looks good, will you be able to reach the dip switches / controls ok back there? I had mounted mine on my 930 to the wall itself, mid way up.
