Very handsome car! Please post more pics!

I have seen this before, your not the first, nor the last.
Good reason to buy a Halon fire ext. Thanks for sharing, just laugh and clean it up. Good lesson for all of us. Best luck, Randy Jones 1971 911 "Iris" |

bigrubber..you're seriously going 'all black' on your fuchs? no silver lip at all? i don't think i've ever seen that before..but then again, i'm not in cali.. ;)

yeah that's the plan, the PO of my car had the fuch's cromed, so I asked around about getting them back to stock look but according to wheel experts they say I should expect some noticible marking to show after they remove the crome, so this is really whats pushing me more towards the all black look, here is a similar car with all black wheels. Besides, I always wanted all black wheels, the silver lip is really a Jap idea. (nothing against Jap cars, just not on my 911)

bigrubber..i see. do you have pics of your car you can post (dumb question)? is it a track car like the one pictured or multi-use?

Multi Use
On the town http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1140375486.jpg At the track (not a great pic but you get the idea) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1140375601.jpg |
bigrubber...cool...it's gonna look badass. moving through town shot is great!

You might consider a Halon unit to replace the dry chemical one....That's the main reason I use Halon (don't like the sticky goo)
