Help! Accelerator linkage related

In moving my 72" MFI project car, I somehow lost / misplaced the linkage that connects the accelerator linkage to the fuel injection pump. This part goes through the engine tin and connects with the accelerator linkage near the transmission. I am such a dumba$$ ! A part number will be greatly appreciated. It doesn't seem that it would be year specific but not sure of that either! Thanks to all. PC

pc,

You can download a very useful PDF parts catalog here:

http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessoriesandservices/classic/classic-originalparts/originalparts-originalparts/

What you asked about is on the page with foot pedal controls, and is three parts ... the #18 lever [linkage from 'reversing lever' on transaxle] and #20 ball socket, and #19 M5 hex locknut ... PCG.423.016.00 , 911.423.147.00, 900.076.027.02

ps,

The original link pn , 911.423.016.00 for all carbed and MFI engines from 1972 thru 1976 is NLA, superceded by the number above, and Pelican can get it special order!

Warren,

That's it. Thank you so very much. I have often read your posts & replies on other searches and they have been beneficial as well. The car is on a slow re-build that has taken 3 years and a slew of funds. Replaced the entire floor pan, front & rear crossmembers, fenders, door skins, rockers, etc...stock engine rebuild while I'm at it with the rest of the car...

Having gone through this it is not suprizing that with this amount of time and 3 kids things have sometimes been misplaced.

I must admit that I am a litle nervous about firing up the engine after the rebuild process too.

Thanks again.
