Paintcode or name of color on 85 carrera (silver)
Anyone know what the correct name and/or paintcode for silver on the 85 911? Was there more than one silver?

There's a metal tag on the driver's side door hing post that is visible with the door open. It contains the 3 digit paint code number. There was one silver color for 1985, called "Silver Metallic" although there was also "Meteor Metallic" which shouldn't be confused with a true silver.

Funny...my ( stock) 85 is listed S7/S7 silver metallic #936.....
so it was used beyond 1975-80.... - Wil
