Jim,
I have been using a bottle of Techron treatment monthly and fuel my car primarily primarily with Chevron premium fuel. No problem yet. But then again, if I did not add it, would I have a problem? I do not know but it does seem to help it run a bit better. How does that story go? Every day at 10 am, a fellow in Kanas steps out of his house, shouts at the top of his lungs "Not Here!" and goes back inside. One of his neighbors, perplexed, watches this for a few months. The second man runs into his neighbor in a store and says to the first man, "I have been watching you step out of his house, shout at the top of his lungs "Not Here!" and go back inside your house for months now, why do you do that?" The first man responds, "Keeping elephants away!" The second man looks that the first man and responds' "But there are no elephants here!" The first man says: "See, it's working".

Seafoam is what I use in all of my cars.
EDIT: Do a search here for "Seafoam". Lots written about it.
