I made it a custom to end each evening with a last glas of wine and a smoke in the garage just to look at my SC. With a likelyhood of at least 50% I'll end up with a screw driver or wrench or at least a flashlight to check whatever. And if that's not enough I read Waynes' book, my new 911 SC book (Porsche Excellence by Design) or the Bentley just for fun until I go back to fill up the glas again...life has a meaning!

Damn. here it is almost 10 o'clock on a Saturday night and I just had to go shovel another 12" of snow off of mine so i could at least see the cover it's been under since November. Only 2 more months of winter...still up to my ass in the miserable white crap. Next year I have to find a way to convince my wife to park her car outside so the mistress can at least sleep in the garage...which is likely where I'll be sent too. Hey, that's not so bad, is it?

Enjoy yours!

Oh! I'm so glad to hear this!

I thought I was the only one with this neurosis.

There is nothing like going out from the house to the garage at night to see the car sitting there. To see it glistening, then to crack open the car door, climb in, take a deep breath and realize its all yours just waiting to be fired up whenever your ready.

I've only had the car for going on 3 weeks, and I look for ANY excuse to go outside.

Thanks again for the greetings and complements. And for helping feel a little less silly about my garage "rendezvous" issues.

While we're all coming clean here, I don't daily-drive my 911, so when I'm in the office, I'll find myself occasionally pulling up a .jpg of the car (can't quite bring myself to make it my desktop wallpaper, however). And when I work from home - fuhget about it! I rarely used to leave the house for a lunch break. That has changed recently (at least when it's not raining).

And it's good to hear from some fellow Bay Area SC owners. If I see you on the road...

Same here.

My 4 YO girl is more obessed with the Porsche then I am and gives "Rosebud" a kiss and hug each night. She wanted to bring her sleeping bad and pillow downstairs to the garage .

Now Mom is getting real jealous

Enjoy
