Recent Purchase - How Long Before...

...I stop going to the garage every 20 minutes to look at my "Black Mistress"? I pass my wife in the family room on the way to the garage. She's getting a bit suspicious... :P

It won't be long. After a while it'll be 25 minutes! Nice choice!

You will be making "extra" trips into your garage until the mistress no longer lives there.

Wait til you get busted just standing and staring with the garage door closed. I bought my P-Car alittle over a year ago and still get caught sneaking time with my toy. The wife actually doesn't seem to mind so much. Enjoy it!

That is a great looking car! Interestingly, my "new" 1986 911 is the first car I have owned that my wife actually likes; she is crazy about it. Have fun.

My wife calls my SC my mistress, and my daughter thinks I need therapy. I'm just happy the garage is attached I don't even have to put shoes on to go see her.

That is a beauty!! And a Targa too!! My wife laughs at me because I still go out in the garage and just stare at her. Sometimes if we are heading out I will grab her arm and yell, "Look!! I have a Porsche!!" I still cannot believe I got one after lusting after them for almost 20 years. Enjoy it!! I also go out and sit in mine from time to time even though I daily drive it.

Your wife will really think you've lost it when you have a detached garage, live in Chicago, put a jacket and hat on over your bathrobe on a February morning to "get something I left in the garage," EVERYDAY!!! Steve

You'll never grow tired of looking at her! Gorgeous car, btw. I've got a black Cab but my wife's favorite type is the Targa, just like your beauty. | ||

Thanks for all the nice comments. The pics were taken on Skyline Blvd. Grizzly Peak Blvd. nearby also offers great twisties and awesome vistas, but those roads are unfortunately also favorites for bicycles, motorcycles, Hondas w/fart cans, deer, etc. Well, time to check on the "mistress"...

Congrats on your new 911 - looks almost exactly like mine did when I bought it - black/black targa w/turbo tail and front spoiler. Mine's an 87, though... I live in the Montclair neighborhood and know that spot where you took the pic - I'll send you a PM...
