wiring gremilns (help)

After all the work that's gone into the suspension, a 3.2 upgrade, brakes, exhaust and getting the car ready for some spring touring, I'm finding some new issues (electrical! my nightmare)
I found my fog lights were completly disconnected, my drivers side mirror is "heating" (a short I suspect) and my turn indicator (on the instrument) flashes in the normal way a few blinks and then both directions start flashing. I'm considering the pro's and con's of starting a re-wiring project focusing on the front end and cockpit.
What sources, suggestions, experiences and/or warnings can I get from fellow Pelicans?

PS: The PCA Track Days at PIR in Phoenix this weekend was incredible! The flames coming out of that Team Porsche twin turbo were orgasmic! The guy with that new Carrera GT that spun without touching was very cool. (Just protecting his investment)

Any wiring clues?

My turn signal indicators do the same thing. I think it has something to do with not good enough grounds.

For the other two, take off the fog lights to save weight, and go back to the original non-electric mirror. Problem solved.
