G-50 ZF LSD value ?
Hi,
What is a usual price for genuine zf g50 lsd in very good used condition (requires nothing). I am wonder ???

That would depend, is it 2 plate or 4, are the plates oem? worn?

I have no idea if it is a 4 or 2 disc setup. Discs in excellent shape.Can you comment price to both of them ? Thanks! |

IMO, any used LSD should be viewed as a core needeing a repack. For a used ZF G50 LSD core, I'd say somewhere around $400-$600. The rebuild will probably run another $300-$400 depending on type of LSD, parts, etc. That brings your total investment to approx. $700 to $1000. If it looks like the higher end of that scale is more realistic with what's out there, you might consider just buying a new unit from Guard Transmission.

I agree w/ Eric's assessment, as a data point I bought a rebuilt but unused Guard asymmetric 40/60 w/ 4x plasma sprayed discs for a little more than $1k
anything else should be less
