Nice car!

Dan, That's too much work for me. I'm not worried about heat because it will be "permanently" garaged!

Gothing- Will let you know after I see it this weekend.

Grady- Thanks for the in-depth rationalization. I really do appreciate it. I'd certainly poop myself if I found that I needed to spend 20k. The PPI is a must and I will let you guys know the results. Thank you.

I hope the PPI goes well, as Grady says make sure and get a FULL PPI...especially the valve covers off to check head studs, many shops do not want to fool with that but as I found on my 78 these Dilavar head studs WILL eventually bite you...and it starts at maybe two thousand....then you hit the "slippery slope" and redo the valves, regrind the cams, put on SSI's....
